Oliver
Oliver was finished today. Never worked with fluffy material before and not sure I want to again - it's absolutely everywhere!! He's very soft and cuddly for a doorstop! Still I hope his new owner will like him - she won't see him for another month but he'll be well looked after here until then!

My first ever backpack
Hi everyone. I was set a little challenge by my friend Debbie, she wanted a backpack for the summer. Something she could take on holiday. Small enough to fold into her suitcase and then take out on walks when she needed it. Well I'm always up for a challenge so here's the result. She was delighted ....and secretly I have to say so am I! What do you think?

Fabric Boxes
These two little cuties were a change from making bags. It's my first attempt at quilting and I quite enjoyed it - maybe I shall plan a bigger project one day - you certainly need a lot of thread to do this sort of quilting!

Little (or not so little) brown bag
...and back again to another version of the Bella Bag by Chris W (http://www.chriswdesigns.com ) It's true what they say that practice makes perfect and each time I make one of these it does get easier :)

A tote for all seasons.
What is it about Totes that make then so appealing? They can carry almost anything and are just so versatile. Are you a fan? These three show how different the same patterns can look. All fully lined and ideal for the beach.....I have some more up my sleeve but using a different pattern - will see how they go. Watch this space.

Another bag.....
This bag has been made for a good friend of mine - she will get it in the New Year - hope she likes it. It was fun to make and I've also done her a little clutch bag to match. It's from a pattern by ChrisW Designs: http://www.chriswdesigns.com Blog: http://blog.chriswdesigns.com I have several of her patterns and they are very easy to follow.
